How much do comic book frames cost?

So you are looking to display your comic books but you don’t know where to start.  One major factor in buying a new item such as this is… How much does it cost?  This, of course, will depend on what type of frame you are looking for.  If quality is not a major concern for you then you should be able to find a frame for around $8-$10.  This type of comic book frame should last you a good few weeks, just be sure not to drop it!

There are also quite a few frames out there in the $15-$20 range.  This is where you can find a nice, high quality frame that will last you a long time and look great on your wall or desk!  Some of these are made of wood, some plastic.  When you are looking for the best quality, make sure it’s a Comic Book Displays Frame.  You can buy our UnGraded Frames for only $15.99 and our CGC frames for only $18.99.

Now, if you were to ask my grandpa (rest his soul) what would be a good frame, he would certainly go with wood coating frames.  They would look amazing against the wood paneling in the basement!  You can pick these bad boys up for anywhere from the $10-$40 range.

A company called Grater Built Comic Book Frames has some really nice high-end frames.  They will run you about $40.00 and may be a great option for that precious book that you are willing to hang up on a wall.

Now for the extremely high end, we met a guy at Wizard World Chicago who sells wall-mount comic book frames.  These were really cool, and will run you a couple hundred dollars.  They come with UV protection glass, lights, and a kitchen sink.  Some of you may have heard of this company before… I can’t recall the name but if you do, please share!  These seemed like a great way to display that Avengers #1.

When asking yourself, “How much do comic book frames cost?”, start by figuring our what it is you are looking for.  From there, let the force be your guide.
